Entitled upside mimi ᴉɯᴉɯ uʍop, or Mimi for short, this ground-breaking new commission is the first time Maclean has worked entirely with cartoon animation and at an architectural scale. As the inaugural ORBIT commission, our ambition is to take the world of Mimi to high streets across Scotland, part of a nation-wide campaign supporting young people post-pandemic by linking up outstanding contemporary art experiences with learning opportunities, a central pillar of our mission to engage Every Child in Scotland.
