Working alongside the Jupiter Artland’s Visitor Engagement team to provide a welcoming, safe, and accessible experience for all Jupiter Artland visitors. Jupiter Artland is a Five Star Visitor Attraction, specialising in contemporary art, learning and nature. The post-holder will learn valuable skills in providing excellent customer service. This role is well-suited for someone looking to start a career in hospitality or cultural sector.
To ensure the smooth running of the Box office including checking prepaid visitors and friends of Jupiter.
Ensure members of the public are offered exceptional customer service. To be professional and efficient to all visitors, as the first point of contact for all callers.
Engage with the visitor to establish the best ticket option/price for their needs
Actively selling day tickets or recommending our friends of Jupiter membership.
Checking correct online ticket have been purchased.
Credit card processing
Maintaining accurate and up to date ticket information.
To ensure the Box Office area is kept presentable at all times.
Dealing with customers general enquiries.
Providing visitors with information about the permanent collection and gallery exhibitions.
Invigilating all outdoor artwork to ensure that the security of the artworks are not compromised.
Providing excellent and pro-active customer service
Each kickstart placement will be assigned a work mentor from within Jupiter’s Senior Management Team. The work mentor will undertake initial induction and support placement through their journey at Jupiter, ensuring placements keep a daily learning log and attend meeting, tracking timekeeping, attendance and performance. Provide feedback and identifying opportunities for learning and training.
Learning log – Daily tracking of activities and tasks will be undertaken. Reviewed bi-weekly with mentor.
In-house training will be provided in CV writing, interview skills, customer services and professional presentation.
Onsite training will be given to support and increase invaluable skills in the tourism, hospitality, culture and heritage sector.
