Silvy Weatherall A Body Of Parts

Silvy Weatherall: A Body Of Parts 17/05/2014 - 20/07/2014

The artist, from a farm in Dumfries and Galloway takes inspiration from her fear of waste. She uses the by-products of her husband’s meat and game business, found bones, skulls, road kill and transforms them into objects of desire. A veritable museum of curiosities, Silvy’s work is reminiscent of decorative arts from a by-gone era.
