What now?
You have so much to offer but sometimes it’s overwhelming to know where to begin.
We’re here to point you in the direction of local organizations, services an charities that do amazing things. Whether you’re looking to volunteer opportunities, creative outlets, ways to get involved with politics or you just need someone who’ll listen – we’ve got you covered!
We’ve identified 4 important areas for creative young people: your voice, wellbeing, art and volunteering. Check out the organisations that can give you support and advice that might really help. (Please note, there are so many great things going on in your area, we may not have included them all, this is just a starting point!)
VOICE Someone needs to make sure the adults in the room are listening. Why not you? if you want to really change the world around you, then getting involved in how the world is run is a great way to start. Don’t leave it up to others – have your say!
VOLUNTEER Helping out in your community offers a sense of fulfilment and is a great way to get a fresh perspective on yourself but more importantly it makes a real difference to people’s lives.
WELLBEING If you want advice, a friendly ear or do some self-exploration these are some of the great organisations that might be able to offer the kind if support you need.
ART Maybe you want to find a creative outlet that lets you relax and meet new people or maybe you want to pursue further study and go on to a career in the arts. There’s lots of ways to express yourself!
ART: KEEP UP THE CREATIVITY
These events are great for your CV and a way to meet other local creatives! All events are free and anyone can attend. Our public programme will launch Monday 6th October until Friday 17th October.
