• You’ve gone large, now go small. Construct your own textural surface inspired by Phyllida Barlow. Now where does it live? All our outdoor artworks at Jupiter Artland are site specific, a conversation between the art and the landscape. Place your textual surfaces in 3 different locations and see how it changes the work?

• Go and visit ‘quarry’ by Phyllida Barlow. This artwork is going through a restoration process. This is a great opportunity to see how it is made, the materials and processes.

At Home:

• Undertake a textual exploration. Using thin paper and wax crayons explore the natural and manufactured textures you see around your home environment. Tear, cut and collage them together to form a mashup celebration of the organic and urban.
