Jupiter Rising x EAF 2025

Jupiter Rising X EAF 25
Saturday August 16th, 6pm – midnight
Back in its third year and taking place in Jupiter Artland’s stunning landscape, JUPITER RISING x EAF is returning on Saturday 16 August. Scotland’s artist-driven festival is back for one night only with experimental music, poetry, and performance.
What’s on at Rising?

The packed line-up features a live solo set by iconic Glasgow artist TAAHLIAH and a curated line-up of poetry and performance from Waterwings Press. Party-goers can explore Jupiter Artland’s summer exhibitions by Guy Oliver and Jonathan Baldock after dark, and catch Baldock in conversation with Queer as Folklore author Sacha Coward. Performance artist Florence Peake debuts an Aphrodite-inspired floor painting performance set to be immortalised in a permanent exhibition at Jupiter, while voice artist Roxanne Tataei brings her neo-opera sound from South London to Scotland, taking inspiration from ancient Gaelic Psalm singers. Trailblazing hair salon and queer nightlife darlings Ponyboy curate this year’s infamous late night stage, sure to bring a spectacular array of artistry and performance to the supernatural woodland stage, all night long.
Expect the usual art-drenched chaos, late night dancing, and stunning performance in the woodlands of Jupiter Artland. Limited bus tickets getting partygoers to and from Glasgow and Edinburgh will also be available.
Exhibitions
Guy Oliver: Millennial Prayer
9 Aug – 28 Sept
A sharp, satirical exploration of masculinity, politics, and pop culture 25 years after the millennium. Guy Oliver blends video, text, collage, and performance to unpack male identity, failure, and vulnerability through references to film, music, and internet culture. Millennial Prayer contains references to violence and misogynistic content.
Jonathan Baldock: WYRD
10 May – 28 Sept
Textile and clay creatures inspired by queer animal behaviours fill the Ballroom Gallery in this magical, folkloric new commission. Baldock’s WYRD celebrates otherness through fey, hybrid beings rooted in nature and myth.
Work Begat Work: Ian Hamilton Finlay & Andy Goldsworthy
11 April – 29 Sept |
A landmark pairing of two artists central to Jupiter Artland’s story. This exhibition features rarely seen works and unveils Goldsworthy’s Clay Tree Wall for the first time in over a decade.
Tickets | £13 / £7.50–£12 conc.
