Café Party sits at the heart of the park as both a restaurant and a fully immersive artwork. The interior is surrounded by a vibrant, site-specific installation by Nicolas Party, creating a setting where colour, form and atmosphere shape the dining experience. For private events, matching artist-edition crockery is included, extending the artwork from the walls onto the table and into each guest’s experience.

Glazed doors open onto a covered, heated terrace overlooking the Steadings courtyard, offering a relaxed outdoor extension for drinks, canapés or informal gathering. To the rear, a more enclosed terrace sits alongside another art installation, Pissflowers by Helen Chadwick, providing a quieter, more private outdoor setting that can be incorporated into events as an additional space. Together, the interior and terraces allow Café Party to be used flexibly, with different areas hosting dining, drinks or food stations across an event.

With a full kitchen, bar and barista setup, Café Party can be booked exclusively for private lunches, dinners and social events, offering a lively yet considered environment where art, food and conversation come together.

Capacity

Café Party is well suited to private dining and social events, with space to accommodate seated meals and flowing formats that make use of both indoor and outdoor areas. The combination of restaurant, terraces and courtyard views allows events to feel private and contained, while maintaining central access to the sculpture park and facilities.
