Step inside the artwork and swim through one of Jupiter Artland’s most distinctive installations, where sculpture, space and sensation meet. One of the few artworks in the UK you can physically enter and swim through, Gateway offers a rare opportunity to experience art not just as something you look at, but something you move through and feel.
A public bathing session allows up to 12 guests to enjoy the pool up to 1 hour. (Please be advised, the one hour session includes your welcome, safety brief and changing time).
Session times are 10-11am and 4-5pm daily and must be booked in advance. Ticket to your Gateway bathing session includes your entry to Jupiter Artland for the day so you can enjoy the grounds and other artworks during your visit.
Shower facilities are near the bathing area, please bring your swimming costume, towel and suitable footwear to wear between the changing area and the pool

Terms & Conditions
Your safety and enjoyment are our priorities. Please note these rules and guidelines:
- Although there is a member of team present during Gateway bathing sessions; you swim at your own risk. Jupiter Artland Ltd accepts no liability to personal injury.
- Children 6-18 must be always accompanied by an adult. Please note that children under the age of 6 are not allowed to participate in sessions.
- All participants in bathing sessions must be able to swim comfortably without assistance.
- All participants will need to listen and read the safety instructions issued prior to their session.
- Due to this experience being outdoors the temperature of the heated Gateway pool sculpture can fluctuate.
