Bringing your group to JUPITER+ is totally FREE with tours and workshops shaped to your students/group and their learning journeys.

Each session will start with a critical ‘deep dive’ into the artwork in the Loreburn Centre, Dumfries. Inspired by the concepts contained within the artwork students will be invited to experiment and explore the creative possibilities through a practical workshop within our purpose-built learning studio, all delivered and facilitated by our JUPITER+ Learning Team.

Session Aim: To critically engage with contemporary artwork and produce a creative response to a given theme

Session Objectives: – Students will be able to:

•Identify visual language used within artwork and explain how the artist has used materials and techniques.

•Identify and explain social and cultural influences that impact the artwork.

•Successfully select and apply appropriate materials and techniques to a given theme.

•Identify and refine a single idea towards a successful outcome in line with a given theme

Removing the Barriers – A travel bursary is available to cover all student travel to and from the site in Loreburn Centre, Dumfries.

Accessibility to our JUPITER+ site and session will be fully accessible and inclusive to all.
