About JUPITER+ Paisley JUPITER+ is a creative satellite programme by Jupiter Artland that brings world class contemporary artworks (this year, Anya Gallacio’s work Stroke) and transformative learning to High Streets throughout Scotland. With a learning programme powered by the passion of young people JUPITER+ will spark creativity and conversations that empower individuals to drive change.
About the Role This role would suit applicants embarking on a career in learning, seeking to develop delivery experience. Support and guidance will be given throughout the project to enable successful candidates to reflect and develop their skills. The learning team will be based in a purpose-built Learning Studio delivering workshops to schools, colleges and community groups. Workshops focus on critical analysis and practical making with drawing, screen and mono printing processes. Training in these areas will be provided however we are keen to seek candidates that have a confident working knowledge of basic print processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Support delivery of workshops to schools and colleges.
• Present engaging, positive learning for all participants.
• Undertake evaluative feedback and capture engagement data.
• Maintain stock of learning materials and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy learning studio.
• Support the Jupiter+ Team in coordination of learning groups visits.
• Comply with Health & Safety processes and procedures and other relevant policies set out within the programme.
• Undertake an induction/training session prior to project delivery.
• Champion accessibility, inclusion, diversity, and sustainability throughout programme.
Person Specification
• Experience in delivering creative learning for ages 13+
• Working knowledge of basic print processes.
• A knowledge and passion for contemporary art and innovative learning.
• Valid PVG cert.
• Able to be on-site in Paisley.
